Our first edition is here. It's full of great insights, and people saying smart things like,
"I'm paying 50 bucks a year for this piece of shit."
-Sean Howard
"You get what you pay for."
-Gavin Heaton
"Badass."
-me
At the very least, I got to see these guys, one in Vancouver Toronto, the other in Sydney, face to face, in real time, which is pretty damn cool.
You guys are so inspiring. Poetry. Pure poetry!

Amazing. What a team!
Here's my assement:
You guys need to starting pooling some money together (relatively difficult), pull a Jason Calacanis (even harder), and start investing in some real "good shit" (not your own computer mics, Paul). Funny, but this is not good PR. Aren't you guys in the business of marketing and cogent conversation?
Seriously, I commend your efforts, but I expect better next time.
Otherwise, Max Kats and I are going to blow you out of the ocean with our soon to come, videocast (Summer '07). Ok?

I think we may have set a new bar for UGC. It may be low. But it has been set.
Oh and Austin ... don't underestimate the importance of failure ;)

Someday, Drew, someday. We'll figure this damn thing out!
And, damnit, Gavin. I think we just got reprimanded by Austin. Well, hell, I feel a huge shame spiral coming on...Maybe we should just act like it was intentional, and all part of our master plan.
Austin, please don't read my above comment. That show was completely intentional and all part of our secret master plan for video domination. Just wait!
Mack, I don't know! I think it's Sean's way of showing who's boss. :)

Fine. I understand. We're all in it to build competition, right? Or is it community? :)

Hey! I'm in Toronto!
I don't think Paul's $30 camera gets any larger that postage stamp. ;)
I think Austin is goading us. And it's working! ;)

I think it's a community of competitors. That sounds about right. :)
Oh, damnit. I'm an idiot then. You should move to Vancouver, Sean. Then I'd be right.

You DO get points for trying... AND for having the guts to post your results. :)
