Alright ad geeks, time for a non-coastal geek dinner this
Wednesday night (4/25). Joining us will be the man, the myth, Joseph Jaffe himself. And lots of good
conversation to follow, I'm sure...
At this point, just make sure you clear the date, and assume that we'll be
meeting at 6:30pm at a location that is yet undecided in downtown
If you plan to attend, email me here, or call my cell at 214.893.4622. I'd like to have at least somewhat of an idea so we can get a reservation if needed.
So far, I know Brent and Cam are in. Who else?
*UPDATE* Ok, John's in. James is 50/50. Brian? I've heard from 5 or 6 others, so I think we'll have a pretty good group.
Meet us at 6:30pm at Campisi's on Elm (MAP). Just look for the table of geeks talking about blogging, second life, or the like. Or just listen for a thick South African accent. Either way, you'll find us!
*UPDATE 2* And, Jake's in, too!
It's sure to be bad-assery.

I'll be there if you hold it at double-wide. And I'll definitely be there if you hold it in NYC. I'll miss you guys.

What do geeks do in Dallas? Rodeo? Karaoke? BBQ? If Mcenany is involved, I'm sure to regret it :)

Damn shame to miss it it but there's a hemmisphere problem in the way. I'm so looking forward to meeting Joseph when he gets to Sydney in the next couple of weeks....but it won't be an all Texas shin dig!

There WILL be badassery. This I promise.
CK- Wish you could be here, too. And no, I can't imagine the Doublewide will come into play. :)
jJ- Oh, you will regret it. ;)
Katie- Well, damnit, get here!

Sign me up. I'm likely bringing 1-3 others too.

If those bloggers can hang at Doublewide until 5am like us I'll be disappointed. Maybe even disappointed enough to come down there myself...yes, we need to give me a "good" excuse.
Have so much fun!

To report back: it friggin rocked.
As I moved away from Dallas a few months back, it was great to see some familiar faces like Jake - and to meet you in person, Paul!

Sorry I missed it, but I was in Orlando for a few days.
