Believe me, I'm trying to respond to comments. I'm trying to comment on your blogs, too.
But, I just found out that Typepad hates blogs. So, until the problem is fixed, I will refer to Typepad only as typepad, in subtle protest.
Gavin, can you offer guidance?
I opened a ticket and they whitelisted my IP.
Now I can comment again. They got back to me pretty fast.
ipchicken.com will tell you your IP.
Hopefully your IP isn't changing a lot.
But frankly, it was my fault. I was trying to win your comment thing and posted 7 comments in quick succession of one word each... and then my troubles began. ;)

P.S. Gavin can't comment on this thread. lol. ;)

I am back! The Typepad folks had to whitelist a whole string of IP addresses for me ... but finally, after weeks of whitelisting, it seems I can again comment. BUT I don't know how long it will last! Very frustrating ...
Luc from Mindblob has a sneaky approach to making Typepad do as it is told. You need to rely on cunning and speed -- see the details here:

Seems like this is spreading - my CAPTCHA mysteriously came back on after I turned it off, and Servant of Chaos is also having a bit of trouble...

WordPress is where it's at, people. Open source!

Bummer. What's your "honorary blog-sitter" going to do when nobody can comment?

Woot! Apparently, my work IP address is working. Hell, yeah!
Sean- Thanks for the tip, though. I turned in the ticket, and they're working on it right now. What a fucking pain.
Gavin- Welcome back, my friend! And, thank you for the tip as well. I just said screw it and came into the office today, and apparently it works fine here.
Neil- Captcha sucks! I'm on your team. I turned it off, too, but it doesn't seem to want to go away. Typepad needs to just figure it out, and quit screwing us.
Clay- Dude, I'm starting to feel that way, too. But, it seems like an even bigger pain in the ass to switch over.
Roger- No kidding! I guess I'll just have to come up to work to praise his fine work!
